He worked in the studio of F. Rubo and at the same time attended the school of drawing, painting and sculpture of M. Bernshtein and L. Shervuda in 1910-1914. Studied at St. Petersburg Art Academyin 1912-1914. Lived in Leningrad. Worked as an illustrator with a number of magazines. Produced illustrations for children’s books and posters. V. Lebedev was one of the organizers of “Okon ROSTA” in Petrograd. Died in Leningrad in 1967. |
