Ukrainian painter. Studied in 1901-1905 in Kyiv Art College in the studio of I. Seleznov. Later in Munich Academy of Art in 1905-1906. Became a professor of decorative landscape studios at the Kyiv Art Academy in 1917. Immigrated in 1920 and settled in New York in 1922. He settled in the Bronx, near by David Burliuk. Albert Einstein became one of the great admirers of Manevich’s paintings. Manevich died in 1942 in New York.
