Volodymyr Ilich Masik was born in Ekaterinoslav, Ukraine in 1917. Studied in art studio in 1934-1935; at Dnipropetrovsk Art College in 1935-1939; at Kyiv Art Institute in 1944-1950. Active in Kyiv. Specialized in landscapes, thematic paintings. Also a graphic artist. Died in 1996.
