Born in St. Peterburg Solomko studied at St. Petersburg Academy of Art in 1887-1888. Painted watercolors on historical and allegorical themes, scenes from Russian fairy tales. Solomko worked for many magazines and book publishers. He was a member of Russian watercolor painters and St. Petersburg society of artists. Since 1910 moved to Paris where he became very popular. Solomko painter miniature paintings for K. Faberge’s factory.
