Eduard Semenovich Gorokhovsky was born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine in 1929. Architect, graphic artist, painter-non-conformist. Graduated from the Odessa Industrial Institute, department of architecture in 1954. In 1955 moved to Novosibirsk, where he started working as a graphic designer specializing in book illustration. In 1955 participated in art exhibition of Novosibirsk artists union. Became a member of the Soviet Artists Union in 1968. In 1973 moved to Moscow. Gorokhovsky died in Moscow in 2004.
