Lazar Mikhailovich Diamant was born in Yalta, Crimea in 1874. Studied at the Academy of Arts, Munich. Active in Nizhni-Novgorod from no later than 1907 to no earlier than 1919; then emigrated to Munich, Germany. Began exhibiting in 1907. Died in Munich in 1922.
