He himself taught art briefly in Rio de Janeiro. Came to Paris in the 1890s, painted portraits, worked with French publishers and magazines including Courier Francais and L’assiette au beurre. Exhibited at the Salon d’Automne, Salon des Independents etc. Was awarded the medal of the French Legion. |
