Olga Vladimirovna Rozanova was born in 1886 in Melenki, Vladimir Province. Painter, graphic artist, designer of Futurist books, author of theoretical articles. Studied at the Stroganov Central School of Technical Drawing in Moscow (1904-1910) and Elizaveta Zvantseva’s school of art in St. Petersburg (1911). Contributed to the exhibitions of the Union of Youth (1911-1914), Espozizione Libera Futurista Internazionale (1914), Tramcar V. First Exhibition (1915), 0.10. Last Futurist Exhibition (1915-1916), Store (1916) and Jack of Diamonds (1916, 1917). Member of the Supremus (Suprematist) group (1916). Joined IZO Narkompros and Proletkult, headed the applied art subsection (1918). Died in Moscow in 1918.
