Severyn Borachok was born in Ukraine in 1898. It is known that he lived and worked in Paris in the early 1930s. After World War II he settled in Munich, where he became a close friend of Gregor Kruk. After the death of his wife in 1962, Borachok decided to move to the United States of America. In 1965 he moved to Richmond, Maine. Between 1969-1972, Borachok exhibited his works in Toronto, Buffalo, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago. The exhibitions were organized by his brother, Maryan Borachok.
