Studied with grandfather, I.K Aivazovsky; at Imperial Academy of Arts in 1896-97, and 1899-1902. He was active in St.Petersburg until 1906 and then in Crimea (1906-1920), Greece (1920-1924). Moved to Paris in 1924. He was a founding member of the New Society of Artists in 1904. Began exhibiting around 1905. Specialized in landscapes. Known also as a ceramic artist.Died in Paris in 1942 |
