In comparison to Photorealist works, Sherstiuk’s works are intended to reach literally and figuratively beyond surface appearances, beyond the objective. He was influenced by Caravaggio. The artist widely exhibited in the West and has held five personal exhibitions in the United States of America. He died in Moscow in 1998. |
