Arkady Alexandrovich Plastov (Arkadiy Aleksandrovich Plastov) was born in 1893 in the Prislonicha village, Simbirsk region. Russian social realism artist. Studied at Stroganov Art College in 1912-1914 and Moscow College of Art, Sculpture and Architecture in 1914-1917 in the studio of S. Volnuchin. Lived in Moscow and in the village of Prislonicha. Painted landscapes, portraits and genre paintings. Died in 1972.
