Киріак Костянтинович КОСТАНДІ • Кириак Константинович КОСТАНДИ

Kostandi was born in Odesa region. Studied at Odesa drawing school (1874-1882) and St. Petersburg Art Academy. Became academic of St. Petersburg Art Academy in 1907. Member of Wanderers (Peredvishniki) group since 1897. Kostandi was one of the founders of Odesa Art Museum (1898-1899) and became its director in 1917.
