Studied in art studio in Poltava (1922-1926); at Kharkiv Art College (1928-1932). Active in Poltava. Began exhibiting in 1926. Member of AkhChU from 1926. Specialized in landscapes. Taught in Poltava in the art studio of Palace of Pioneers (1937-1939); in the art studio of art museum (1947-1950); at the House of People’s Creativity (1947-1956). Director of Poltava Art Museum (1945-1974). Also a graphic and theatre design artist, art critique. Died in Poltava in 1974. |
